MARTA expands fresh fruit and veggie markets to four stations

After a successful debut last year, MARTA is expanding its Fresh MARTA Markets to four locations this year.
MARTA riders and local residents can buy fresh fruits and vegetables from the markets at West End, College Park, Five Points and H.E. Holmes stations, according to a news release from MARTA.
The markets are outside the fare gates, allowing area residents to shop in the markets as well. The markets are open from 3 -7 p.m. but days for the markets vary by location.
The markets accept cash, credit and EBT payments, as well as give a two-for-one match for the Supplement Nutrition Assistance Program.
