Monday Night Brewing to open 2nd location on Westside Trail; asks the public to help name it

Monday Night Brewing, an Atlanta-based craft brewery, is building a 2nd brewery and tasting room along the Beltline’s Westside Trail.
The new 22,000-square-foot space will be part of the Lee + White Development, a mixed-use development at the corner of Lee and White Street. The development will house other local food producers including Southern Aged Cheese, Doux South Pickles, and Honeysuckle Gelato.
The brewery announced the news on their website, saying they expect to open next summer. They are also asking the public for help in choosing a name for the new location.
The brewery chose the new location because it has space for barrel-aging, a tasting room, an orchard, a patio on the Beltline, and is in an underserved part of Atlanta, the announcement says. It also has paintings of dinosaurs, they noted.
The website has pictures of the dinosaurs and lots of pictures of the space. See those by clicking here.
The new brewery will focus on barrel-aged and sour beers. It will also have an urban orchard to aid in wild fermentation.
“Ultimately, we love this city and want to help build something great here,” the website says. “We can never forget that inviting friends and strangers into the garage to brew on Monday nights is how we got started. The ability to help build and shape community is why we wanted to open a brewery in the first place.”
Monday Night Brewing has won numerous awards from the Great American Beer Festival and the World Beer Cup, according to their website.
