Ashview Heights BNB provides cozy space

A recently-opened bed and breakfast in the historical Ashview Heights provides a relaxing, homey atmosphere on Atlanta’s Westside.
“I take pride in creating a space for people to relax in. The world is chaotic and sometimes all people need is a moment to breathe,” owner Akua Taylor wrote in an email describing why she decided to open a bed and breakfast.
Taylor opened Ashview Heights BNB in July, after participating in the Village Micro Fund Spring Cohort at Morehouse College this spring. Taylor said she developed business plans for the bed and breakfast while working with the support of other community entrepreneurs.
The bed and breakfast offers guests two bedrooms with a jack and jill bathroom, a dining room and front porch. To find out additional information or to book a room, click here.

“When I can provide a comfortable space for people to feel at ease for a moment, that brings my heart joy,” Taylor said. “…Smoothing out a blanket on the bed, folding fresh the towels or shopping for treats to stock the fridge is so simple, it’s therapeutic.”
