The Masquerade hosts Black Lips, fan appreciation concert at North Avenue location

The Masquerade plans to put on one final hurrah before it leaves its historic North Avenue location.
Local Atlanta band The Black Lips will play a special fan appreciation concert at the venue on October 21, according to a news release from The Masquerade.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday, October 14, with the first 200 tickets priced at $10.
“Get yours while you can and come take part in a piece of history,” the news release says, promising memorabilia giveaways all night long.
The music venue is leaving its Beltline location after 25 years to make way for a mixed-use development. They had initially planned to move straight to their new site location on Fairmont in West Midtown. But that move has been indefinitely delayed by a lawsuit.
In September, The Masquerade announced they are temporarily moving to Kenny’s Alley, next to Underground Atlanta. The location is blocks from Centennial Olympic Park and the new Mercedes Benz Stadium.
