Free workshops offered to homeowners along Westside Trail

Homeowners along the Westside Trail in Atlanta can attend a free workshop to learn more about resources to help them stay in their homes or evaluate opportunities to sell their homes.
The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership and Home Place Consulting are offering three 2-hour workshops in October and November.
Tia McCoy, a National HomeOwnership Trainer and Consultant, will lead the workshops focusing on resources available to help homeowners stay in their homes, homeowner occupied rehab programs, property taxes, tax exemptions, homeowners insurance and code enforcement. The classes will also provide information on how to calculate the value of your home, what investors do with homes they purchase and how to get a fair price if you sell.
The workshops are free, but each is capped at 50 participants. Anyone planning to attend can reserve a seat by signing up here.
The Westside Trail is currently under construction and should be finished sometime next year.
