The Atlanta Police Department’s (APD) Special Victims Unit is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in the above sketch.
On Oct. 14, between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m., an unknown suspect climbed through the bedroom window of an apartment near McDaniel Street and Northside Drive in southwest Atlanta, according to the police report. Once inside, he groped two sisters – ages 4 and 5 – while they slept. When children went to tell their caregiver about the incident, the man had already escaped back through the window.
The APD is asking anyone who recognizes the man in the sketch or has any information about the incident to contact crime stoppers. Information can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or online at www.stopcrimeatl.com. Those submitting information do not have to give their name or any personal information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of the suspect.
