Atlanta BeltLine announces three public meetings in April

Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. will host three public meetings in the coming month, according to an ABI press release.
The first two, on April 7 and 14, will both be about the Atlanta Heritage Owner-Occupied Rehab Program, an initiative from Invest Atlanta and the city’s department of city planning and community development. The new initiative will help lower-income Atlanta residents remain in their homes and avoid displacement through deferred forgivable loans.
Those meetings will take place at Atlanta Technical College (on April 7) and the Peachtree Hills Recreation Center (on April 14), both from 9-11 a.m.

Additionally, ABI will host a meeting regarding updates to the Subarea 3 Master Plan, which includes Grant Park, Chosewood Park and Boulevard Crossing Park, on April 14.
The meeting will seek to refine previous recommendations from the existing master plan and take gather input on community fabric, land use (mixed use, housing, commercial services), transportation facilities (trails, sidewalks, bikes), existing streets and proposed new streets and parks & open space. There will be two presentations with time for questions and input.
Also open to the public, this meeting will take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Focused Community Strategies Community Room behind Carver Market on McDonough Boulevard.
