Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms breaks ground on new mixed-income senior housing on the BeltLine

Today, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and other city officials broke ground on the highly-anticipated Adair Court project, according to an Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. press release.
Located between the MARTA West End Station, Adair Park and the Atlanta BeltLine Westside Trail, the new 91-unit mixed-income senior rental community is being developed by Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. and Parallel Housing, Inc.
The $15 million development will consist of two buildings with one- and two-bedroom units for seniors aged 55 years and older. Of the 91 units, 77 will be income-restricted based on the area median income to keep the community affordable for decades, the release said.
Invest Atlanta, Bank of America and Summit Community Bank provided loans to help finance the project.
“Adair Court provides affordable housing that targets one of our city’s most vulnerable populations – our seniors,” Bottoms said. “This development and others like it are a direct result of the city’s concerted efforts to secure affordability and preserve legacy residences with the help of Invest Atlanta and the Atlanta BeltLine.”
