Atlanta Police seek man involved in shooting of off-duty GSU officer during robbery attempt
Atlanta Police are looking for two men involved in the shooting of an off-duty Georgia State University police officer on Sunday during a robbery attempt.
According to police, around 9:30 p.m. on July 30, a woman who works for the GSU police department was walking on Donnelly Avenue with her friend when a man on foot and a man on a bike approached them. One of the suspects attempted to rob them. The off-duty officer fought back and the other suspect pulled out a gun and shot the off-duty officer in her hand and torso.
