Atlanta Public Schools, Fulton County schools closed on Wednesday

Hurricane Irma strikes again.
After being closed for Monday and Tuesday, Atlanta Public Schools and Fulton County Schools are closing school again on Wednesday, Sept. 13.
As Irma passed through Atlanta as a tropical storm, it caused widespread damage and left thousands of people in the metro area with out power.
In a message to parents, Fulton County Schools said, “Fulton County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, September 13, due to widespread power outages that continue throughout the county. An estimated 15-20% of Fulton’s schools are still without power. Although school is closed for students, employees who work on the 235-day schedules (12-month employees) should report to their work location at their regularly scheduled time.”
