For many people rent is the largest expense every month, so it’s important to live in a city where you can get the most bang for your buck.
According to a recent study, Atlanta might be one of those places – but in appearance only. Zumper, an online tool that helps people find and rent places to live, released its latest Annual Renter Survey for 2018. One of the most notable findings was that in places with the highest costs of living, people thought they were getting the best deals on their homes.
Even though Atlanta is the 20th most expensive rental market in the nation, the survey revealed it was in the top ten for perception of a good rental deal. Here’s the complete list:
- San Jose, Calif.
- San Francisco
- Jacksonville, Fla.
- New York City
- Colorado Springs, Colo.
- Los Angeles
