Beer tours will visit three Atlanta breweries

Local breweries and all things craft beer will be the focus of a new tour launching next week.
As Atlanta’s craft beer scene continues to grow, Beer from Here Brew Tours will start giving tours of three Atlanta craft breweries, according to a news release from the company’s founder, Doug Lukach.
“We will not only have a tremendous time showing off our city and its award-winning breweries, but we will also help beer drinkers of all levels learn more about what they’re drinking, the brewers’ philosophies and choices and hopefully lead them on a wonderful beer exploration,” Lukach said in the news release.
Metro Atlanta now has 24 breweries, compared to eight in January 2011, the news release said.
The tour includes visits to Orpheus Brewing, Second Self Beer Company and Urban Tree Cidery, as well as tastings at each brewery, a souvenir BFH glass, BFH koozie, water and snacks. The first tour will take place on September 24 from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Beer from Here offers public and private tours with accommodations for four to 55 people. Tickets are $65.
