Driver of stolen vehicle rams Atlanta Police patrol car

A person who was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle attempted to flee Atlanta Police officers and rammed a patrol car before he was captured.
The incident happened on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 10:24 a.m. Officers received a tip that a vehicle reported stolen on Feb. 15 was found in a Kroger parking lot at 800 Glenwood Avenue Southeast.
“When officers approached the vehicle, the driver fled in the vehicle, hitting one patrol car,” the Police Department said. “The suspect (35 year old male) continued to flee and was eventually taken into custody at Castle Keep Way and Flat Shoals Road in DeKalb County. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.”
