Farm Burger to open new location in Grant Park

Farm Burger, a locally sourced burger joint serving 100 percent grass-fed meat, will open at The George Apartments in Grant Park on Monday, March 26, Farm Burger announced.
The opening marks Farm Burger’s fifth Atlanta location, with the original in Decatur and others in Buckhead, Dunwoody and at the newly opened Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Located near the Oakland Cemetery and Grant Park Farmers Market, the fast-casual restaurant will be open daily for lunch and dinner.
Farm Burger was founded in 2010 by organic farmer and rancher Jason Mann and restaurateur George Frangos. According to the restaurant, Farm Burger seeks to provide guests with the “highest quality produce and pasture-raised meats at accessible prices in a family-friendly environment.” Ingredients are all sourced from local farms, including cheese from Decimal Place Farm, produce from Hungry Heart Farm, apples from Mercier Orchards and pork from Anderson Farms.
“We couldn’t be more excited to plant roots in Grant Park,” Frangos said. “Farm Burger is strongly tied to the neighborhood, as we’ve built relationships with neighbors at the Grant Park Farmers Market over the last four years. Our team is honored to build a permanent home within this tight-knit community.”
The menu features burgers made from 100 percent grass-fed beef, antibiotic-free chicken and pasture-raised pork and veggies, plus seasonal salads, hand-cut french fries and other daily specials. Beverages include hand-spun milkshakes, floats, fair trade Maine Root soda, a list of local craft beers (including Eventide Brewing in Grant Park) and small production wines.
Additionally, the Grant Park location will boast a handpainted mural from local artist Caleb Morris, a long dining counter and back patio for outdoor dining and lounging.
This will be Farm Burger’s 13th location nationwide, with restaurants in Georgia, North Carolina, California, Alabama and Tennessee. The restaurants have been featured on CNN and in magazines like Southern Living. Farm Burger was also named among Food & Wine’s picks for “Best Burgers in the U.S” and QSR Magazine’s 40/40 list of “America’s Hottest Startup Fast Casuals.”
