Following purchase of Southside Trail, BeltLine will host meeting about corridor updates

Now that Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. owns the Southside Trail, ABI will host a meeting discussing the final design of the corridor, according to an ABI press release.
ABI has secured funding to complete final design for the Southside Trail, which is the railroad corridor connecting the Westside and Eastside Trails from University Avenue to Glenwood Drive. While the trail is not yet open, ABI recently purchased the land where the future trail and transit will go.
The meeting will provide an update on the work performed on the trail so far and will inform the public on how to stay engaged with the project. It is open to the public, and it will take place on Thursday, May 3, from 6:30 until 8 p.m. in the Focused Community Strategies Community Room at Carver Market, located at 1297 McDonough Blvd SE, Atlanta, GA 30315.
