High Museum Announces Exhibition of Masters

The High Museum recently announced it will be the exclusive Southeast venue for European Masterworks: The Phillips Collection. The exhibition features 75 iconic paintings and sculptures from masters including Degas, Cézanne, Gauguin, Manet, Matisse, Monet, van Gogh, Picasso and others.
“We are terrifically pleased to bring these compelling and beautiful works from The Phillips Collection to the High,” Kevin Tucker, chief curator at the High, said in a statement. “We hope our visitors will take full advantage of this special opportunity for an intimate viewing of these masterworks representing some of the most important artistic achievements in the history of modern art.”
The exhibition will open April 6 and show through July 14, 2019, according to High materials.
