MARTA conducting survey on projects funded with sales tax money
It’s been almost two years since Atlanta voters approved a half-penny sales tax to improve and expand MARTA.
Now the transit agency is planning to spend $2.5 billion to expand MARTA over the next 40 years.
MARTA is in the process of getting public input on the project list, which includes the Clifton Corridor project that drove Atlanta’s annexation of Emory University.
