The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) will stop using AT&T parking decks at the College Park, Doraville and North Spring Stations on Thursday, Feb. 1, MARTA announced in a press release.
After the I-85 bridge collapse last spring, which caused an influx of passengers using rail services, AT&T partnered with MARTA to provide additional parking for rail commuters.
Beginning Thursday morning, parking for the College Park, Doraville and North Springs Stations will be allowed only in MARTA lots. MARTA employees will be on site to help with the transition, and digital signs will alert riders when parking lots are full.
Additional parking for the College Park Station can be found at East Point Station, located on East Main Street at Washington Road; for the Doraville Station at Chamblee Station, located on Peachtree Road at Chamblee-Tucker Road; and for the North Springs Station at Sandy Springs Station, located off Georgia 400 on Abernathy Road. Long-term parking at Sandy Springs Station is $5.
Current parking availability at rail stations can be found here.
