Robert C. Goddard III now chair of Emory University Board of Trustees

The Emory University Board of Trustees has a new leader.
The board elected Robert C. Goddard III, Chairman and CEO of Goddard Investment Group, a commercial real estate firm. He’s served as a trustee since 2008.
He is succeeding current board chair John F. Morgan, who has had the job since 2013. Morgan will now become an emeritus trustee.
“Bob Goddard is a dynamic, thoughtful and creative leader who understands the breadth and depth of Emory’s strengths and responsibilities as a leading research university,” Emory President Claire E. Sterk said in a press release. “His collaborative approach and his commitment to our faculty, students, patients and alumni make him a compelling leader of, and advocate for, Emory University in the coming decade.”
