Beltline TAD dollars to be used for library renovations, construction

The Fulton County library system will use millions of dollars from the Beltline’s Tax Allocation District for construction and renovation projects.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported Fulton County Commissioners voted on Wednesday to spend the $27 million the Beltline will pay out to the library system on capital projects.
The county had originally planned to use the money to build a new Central Library, but earlier this year decided to renovate the existing library.
