Atlanta expanding bike share program

The city of Atlanta has added 400 more bikes to its bike share program, Relay, bringing the total to 500.
There are now 65 bike share locations around the city, according to a recent press release.
“I am proud to announce the expansion of the bike share program today, and to offer this convenient and affordable transportation option throughout the city,” Mayor Kasim Reed said in the press release. “My administration made a commitment to be a top U.S. bicycle city, and today we are being recognized as such. More than 3,000 people have taken 8,000 trips on Relay bicycles since the program launched. Now more than ever, residents and visitors are navigating our wonderful city on bicycles, on foot and using public transit.”
