Atlanta Police announce arrest of second suspect in fatal Barcelona Wine Bar robbery

Atlanta Police say that a second suspect accused of murdering a Barcelona Wine Bar employee during a Nov. 19 robbery is in custody.
“Detectives issued warrants for Carlous Bailey, 20, for his involvement in the Barcelona Wine Bar case,” a press release from the Police Department said. “Mr. Bailey is charged with Murder and Armed Robbery and is currently in Dekalb County jail on unrelated charges.”
Police arrested Samuel Ott, 21, on Saturday, Dec. 23. His DNA was matched to evidence found at the crime scene, police said.
The investigation is ongoing and police are trying to identify other suspects.
“Crime Stoppers Atlanta has once again raised the reward by $2,000,” the Police Department said. “The reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the remaining suspect now stands at up to $40,000. The standard Crime Stoppers reward is $2,000. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477). Anyone providing a tip can remain anonymous and will not be required to testify at any point.”
During the Nov. 19 incident, the suspects shot Chelsea Beller, the restaurant manager, who was complying with the robbers’ demands when she was killed.
