Atlanta Police: Home invasion suspect used fake AK-47
Atlanta Police have arrested a man accused of committing a series of crimes in August.
He was accused of a home invasion on Howell Mill Road in Atlanta’s Zone 2 precinct, which includes Buckhead. In that instance, suspect Antwain Wolfork, 21, is accused of wielding a “replica AK-47.”
“Wolfork has been charged with one count of Home Invasion and two counts of Burglary with Intent to Commit a Felony. It was discovered that he used a very detailed, but fake replica of an AK-47 to commit these crimes,” the Police Department said in a press release. “He is a suspect in three separate incidents in the City of Atlanta including an Aug. 10 pedestrian robbery, an Aug. 19 residential burglary, and an Aug. 19 home invasion. He has multiple arrest cycles in multiple jurisdictions for similar crimes including a robbery in Brookhaven, GA.”
