Atlanta Police release video of vehicles used in robbery attempt

JCT. Kitchen and Bar on Howell Mill road was the scene of a violent attempted robbery last month.
Police have released these videos of the vehicles believed to be involved in the robbery. The vehicles are described as a black SUV and a silver sedan.
According to Atlanta Police, a 25-year-old man came to the restaurant with his wife. When he got out of his vehicle “a slim black male with a grey hoodie pulled over his head approached him with a gun and demanded the victim’s watch.”
The victim refused and fought with the suspect, who fired several times at the victim. The victim then ran into the restaurant which had 30 customers at the time. The suspect followed him inside and fired at least two more times. The victim fell over a cooler behind the bar and the suspect tried to shoot him again, but it looks like his gun jammed according to Atlanta Police.
“The suspect then exited the restaurant and jumped into the back seat of the black SUV,” Atlanta Police said. “The driver of the suspect SUV was described as possible a Hispanic male or black male with a light complexion with longer wavy hair. The victim was transported to Grady hospital in critical but stable condition and was taken to surgery. The investigation continues.”
