Atlanta Police seek suspects who shot store employee
Atlanta Police are looking for two men accused of robbing and shooting a store clerk at the Donnelly Food Store on Donnelly Avenue in Atlanta.
The robbery occurred at 10:39 p.m. on Feb. 20. Two men entered the store and stole cash from the register. During the robbery, a suspect fired one round from a .45 caliber pistol, hitting the employee in the chest. That employee is in critical condition, according to 11 Alive.
“Both suspects fled on foot after the robbery,” an announcement from the Police Department says. “Please contact ‘Crime Stoppers’ at (404) 577-TIPS if you have any information about this incident.”
Police provided the following descriptions of the two suspects:
Suspect #1: Black male, approx. 5’09” to 5’11” with an average build, wearing a red zipper hoodie with gold lettering printed on the front, a gold cross logo printed in the back and an emblem on the left sleeve. Also wearing gray, blue and white shoes, jeans, and a skull mask. Armed with a black colored .45 caliber pistol with an accessory rail frame.
Suspect #2: Black male, approx. 5’05” to 5’07” with an average build, wearing a burgundy hoodie, black shoes, black and gray camo pattern shorts, burgundy and white ‘Nike’ brand gloves, a black face covering, a black bucket hat and a black and gray backpack.
