The first in a series of public meetings to gather community input for the Beltline’s Subarea 5 master plan will be held at the Helen S. Mills Senior Multipurpose Facility on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m. This will be the first update to the plan since it was adopted in 2009.
The Atlanta Beltline Community Engagement Team is inviting the public to help refine and update the recommendations in the existing plan to better reflect the area’s current situation and community goals, according to program materials.
A presentation will be held reviewing the plan, which will be followed by break-out sessions to gather input from community members on land use zoning, transportation and mobility issues, community cohesion, the use of green spaces and other important issues, program materials indicate.
