City of Atlanta donates $100,000 for Hurricane Maria relief

The city of Atlanta is donating $100,000 to MAP International to aid Hurricane Maria relief efforts.
“An estimated 132,000 people in Puerto Rico and 63,000 people in the U.S. Virgin Islands will have access to critically needed medical supplies at no charge with the donation,” a press release from the city says. “MAP International is dedicated to saving lives and restoring heath for those affected by the devastation of hurricane Maria.”
Mayor Kasim Reed presented the check to MAP International today.
