Atlanta’s annual Neighborhood Jazz Concert Series wraps up this weekend, with performances by several different artists of different Jazz disciplines, program materials indicate. The Neighborhood Jazz Series leads up to the Atlanta Jazz Festival, which will take place in Piedmont Park on May 25.
Council members Andrea Boone and Marci Collier Overstreet will be enjoying the music on Saturday, May 18 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at John A. White Park, on Cascade Road, council materials indicate. Brenda Nicole Moorer and the Distilled Butter Band will be preforming.
The following Sunday, May 19, Council President Felicia Moore and Council member Andre Dickens will be attending for final concert in the series. at 4 p.m. at West Manor Park, on Benjamin E. Mays Drive, council materials indicate. The Myrna Clayton Experience and Tony Hightower will be playing.
