Manager and Executive Chef announced for Beltline’s New Realm Brewing

New Realm Brewing, a brewpub set to open this fall along the Beltline, has announced the hiring of a manager and executive chef.
The company has hired Don Mioton as general manager and Julio Delgado as executive chef.
“Mioton joined the team most recently from American Cut & Regent Cocktail Club and Delgado from JP, a restaurant in downtown Atlanta’s Hotel Indigo,” a press release from the company says.
The pub is backed by Mitch Steele, formerly of Stone Brewing in Escondido, Calif., and his business partners Carey Falcone and Bob Powers. It was expected to open this past fall, but the company now says it does not have a definite opening date yet. A spokesperson said that it’s “not far away, so stay tuned for that information.”
“Executive Chef Julio Delgado is drawing inspiration from Brewmaster Mitch Steele’s craft beers as well as the area’s local farms in order to create an approachable menu, which is rooted in tradition,” the press release says. “His blend of global flavors and Southern techniques pair comfortably with the restaurant’s inviting setting. Among notable menu items will be a house ground prime beef burger on a brioche bun, a beer can Springer Mountain Farms half chicken, as well as four hickory wood-fired pizzas cooked to perfection in a dedicated pizza kitchen which guests will see on display on their way to the brewery’s main entrance.”
There will be a main dining room, an interior bar, a lower level patio, an outdoor “Beltline beer garden” and a rooftop patio. There will also be private dining space on the lower level and a second level tasting area. The brewpub will be able to host special events like weddings. It will be able to seat 400 guests.
The company recently released its first rendering of the project.
New Realm will be located at 550 Somerset Terrace NE and will be part of a development called Common Ground.
