MARTA: Man was found between a train and a wall at Edgewood-Candler Park station

MARTA train service was temporarily disrupted on Wednesday evening, Feb. 21, after reports of a man found between an eastbound train and a wall at the Edgewood-Candler Park station.
“At 9:15 p.m., a man was reported to be between one of the Eastbound trains and the wall near Candler Park station,” a MARTA spokesperson said. “Tracks were de-energized and MARTA Police and EMS were called. He was responsive and taken to Grady Hospital. I do not know the nature of his injuries. A bus bridge was established during this time to move passengers around the area. Tracks were re-energized and 10 p.m. and the bus bridge was terminated.”
The incident drew a large response. A witness told Decaturish that three firetrucks, two ambulances and numerous police cars were at the station on Wednesday evening.
