There’s one week remaining to apply for the 2019 Art on the Atlanta Betline exhibition.
In late February, Art on the Atlanta BeltLine released a request for proposals for its 10th year of exhibition. The 2019 season seeks visual artist, performers, musicians, lecturers, and art historians at every stage of their careers to apply, according to program materials.
This is the 10th year of the temporary exhibition that has brought visual art, music, performance art and educational programs to the Beltline’s trails and parks, program materials indicate. Last year, the program expanded significantly, involved more of the community, and partnered outside organizations including The Atlanta Opera, the National Black Arts Festival, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Bakery Atlanta, among others.
Potential project proposals for the 2019 season could include, but are not limited to, visual installation, dance, theater, music, murals and amenities such as benches or bike racks, according to program materials. Click here to read the complete request for proposals.
