Party Tomorrow for a Newly Connected Woodruff Park

via Wikimedia Commons.Woodruff Park is launching its newest amenity tomorrow, Oct. 26 – free high-speed WiFi.
To celebrate the new initiative’s, a free celebration will be held during the park’s Food Truck Fridays and & Lunch event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., program materials state. The first 250 guests who show their connected devices will receive a free prize item and have access to the party’s photo booth.
Internet in the park will be offered thanks to partnership between Central Atlanta Progress and the Downtown Improvement District, Georgia’s Own Credit Union, 100 Peachtree and with funding from the Southwest Airlines Heart of the Community grant, according to program materials.
Woodruff Park is a 6-acre greenspace located at the geographical center of Atlanta, program materials state. It is a natural gathering space for a diverse cross-section both residents and visitors.
