Nothing says fall quite like a fresh baked apple pie – and the best place to find one may be at the 2nd Annual Porches and Pies Festival this Saturday.
The festival in Southwest Atlanta’s Historic Adair Park showcases professional and amateur bakers and pastry chefs in Atlanta, according to their website. Pies will be judged in two categories: sweet and savory.
In additional to a city-wide pie bake-off and tasting, the festival has live music, artist books and other vendors.
The event is from 12– 4:00 p.m. The judging starts at 12 p.m., and winners will be announced at 3 p.m.
The festival is free, but pie tasting passes cost $5. It is a community organizing and fundraising event for Adair Park.
