Report: Atlanta City Council considers reducing pot penalties

Atlanta’s City Council is considering a policy that would eliminate jail time for people who are in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, according to WABE.
WABE said instead of jail time, people would receive a citation and have to pay a fine, similar to a policy recently adopted by Clarkston.
