Saint Germain opens at Ponce City Market

Saint Germain, a French-inspired bakery, opened in Ponce City Market on July 14 for the French National Day, Bastille Day.
The current owners of Atmosphere Restaurant in Morningside, Christine and Jean-Marc Metairie, are operating Saint Germain with Heather Jourdan-Gassin.
The Parisian-named restaurant advertises their style as “exquisite artisan French pastries, specialty breads, sandwiches and French classics, such as macarons and croque monsieur. St. Germain brings a fresh, novel cuisine to Ponce City Market’s diverse food hall selection.”
Every baked good, whether a croissant or baguette, is made fresh daily. The menu also includes items such as coffee and salads. Foods, dish towels and gifts are imported from France, which stock the 400 square-foot gourmet shop.
The bakery is located at 678 Ponce de Leon Avenue, NE, Atlanta, GA 30308. Look out for an update about operating hours and menu items on http://poncecitymarket.com/, or visit the Ponce City Market Facebook page.
